This aneroid blood pressure monitor or sphygmomanometer is used by healthcare professionals to measure patients' blood pressure. It consists of a rubber pump connected to a cuff and it is used together with a stethoscope to listen to the patient's pulse. In particular, this is the most widely used blood pressure monitor by health professionals due to its high reliability.
In order to make the right decision about the health of patients, every hospital, doctor and nursing team needs to purchase an appropriate medical screening equipment. The most common check-ups in medical consultations are the blood pressure ones, which allow professionals to determine whether the patient has hypertension (high pressure), hypotension (low pressure) or normal blood pressure.
